"Moving Party" for Livingston County Habitat for Humanity PP Howard Stewart organized the"PARTY" for Livingston County Habitat for Humanity that included Geneseo Rotarians Howard Stewart, Paul Kreher and Tim Hayes. Also serving were Collin Hayes and Marcea Clark Tetamore from the Avon Rotary Club and Rotarian Matt Gaynor. On March 13h, the Geneseo Rotary Club welcomed its newest member, Thomas Matthews. Pres. Patti Lavigne, Tom Matthews, Pres. Elect Heather Ferrero Tom grew up in Masena, New York, and earned three degrees in education from SUNY Plattsburgh, SUNY Albany, and the University of South Carolina. He retired from SUNY Geneseo in 2018 after 51 years in the Division of Student and Campus Life as Director of Student Activities and later as Associate Dean of Leadership and Service. Betsy and Tom Matthews have two sons, Jeff and Dave, and three grandchildren. Tom was a member of the Geneseo Rotary in the 1980ies and is happily rejoining in 2023. Info submitted by Tom Matthews. Saturday October 8, 2022 HUNT RACE CREW Two checks were presented to the Club by Sara Batzing from the GVHC. One of the checks was a $3000.00 donation, representing the portion of the proceeds that GVHC give us each year for the work we do at the races. This year the Genesee Valley Hunt Club designated Geneseo Rotary as the beneficiary of their 50/50 raffle. This check was for$1791.00 which represents our half of the proceeds. |
